Hi, I’m Laura. My path to becoming a Reiki Master wasn’t entirely linear, but looking back, every step made sense. Originally from Colorado, I moved to Norway in 2008 to pursue an MBA. For years, I walked the path of the traditional business world. But life has a way of redirecting us. After navigating profound personal losses and major life changes, I found myself turning inward, rediscovering a deep childhood curiosity for the unseen— meditation, music, intuition, and energy.

Through Reiki, sound vibrations, meditation, and yoga, I found my way back to my own essence. Today, I combine my practical background with spiritual practice and energy work to create a grounded, safe space for others. 

I am here to help you navigate your own transitions and find your way back home to yourself.

Reiki: A Space to Unwind and Restore

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy practice that supports your body’s natural ability to calm, repair, and restore balance. Through light touch (or no touch at all, depending on your comfort and location) your nervous system begins to unwind, your breath slows, and the emotional weight you’ve been carrying starts to soften.

There is no expectation here. Reiki meets you exactly as you are. People often describe the experience as a feeling of warmth, gentle waves, a deep sense of calm, or simply "coming home." Through scientific study, it has been shown to aid recovery of physical ailments such as tissue rupture, surgery, and even cancer. 

This gentle practice can offer deep support if you are navigating:

  • Grief, loss, or emotional overwhelm

  • Burnout, broken sleep, or a dysregulated nervous system

  • Anxiety and restlessness

  • Pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility journeys

Shamanic Journey: Connecting with Inner Wisdom

A shamanic journey is a meditative, rhythmic practice rooted in ancient traditions across many cultures. In our sessions, I use my intuition to safely guide you on a journey inward. Together, we open a doorway to meet your inner wisdom, look gently at hidden emotions, and discover the underlying drivers that shape your daily life.

Supported by a steady, grounding drumbeat, your brain naturally shifts into a lightly altered, dream-like state—a quiet space where deep imagery and insight can speak more clearly. You remain fully conscious, safe, and in control throughout the entire experience. The journey simply creates a clear channel for clarity, comfort, and deep-seated truth to flow through.

As your guide, I use the gentle structures of mantra (sacred sounds or phrases) and visualization (guided mental imagery) to give your mind a soft place to rest. Together, we create a bridge between the busy outside world and the quiet landscape within you.

You don't need a quiet mind to start; you just need to show up as you are. These sessions are highly practical yet deeply spiritual, designed to give you accessible tools you can carry into your everyday life.

Hatha Yoga: Grounding in the Body

Hatha Yoga is a classic, intentional practice that uses conscious breathing and mindful movement to bring balance back to the body and mind. In our sessions, we slow down. We hold postures, focus on alignment, and use the breath to move stagnant energy. It is less about flexibility and more about creating a deep, respectful conversation with your own physical form.

This is a trauma-informed, safe space where your body's wisdom comes first. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to return to the basics, we move at a pace that honors your nervous system.
